A Full Consultation For situations where there are a number problems or issues concerning your animal or where the matters are complex, a full consultation in the first instance may be recommended. Assessing and treating both companion and performance animals in a holistic way has far reaching benefits in the overall health and wellbeing of our pets.
Whilst a physical, emotional or behavioural problem, may be of primary concern it can often be that there are other aspects of your animal’s health that are also affected. A Full consultation involves a complete assessment in person and via a Client Intake Questionnaire.
Treatment will often incorporate
a range of natural therapy modalities (Bowen, Kinesiology, Acupressure,
Essences, Reiki and crystal
energy work) as needed. Nutritional as well as essence and homeopathic
recommendations may also be made along with advice regarding ongoing care
and any support with a home massage
or acupressure program. The initial
therapy sessions are at least 90mins.
Full Consultation ( 90mins) : $85 Phone/Email followup ( 15mins) : no charge Face to face follow-up consultations : cost varies depending on support/therapy provided
Therapy session(s) using Bowen Therapy only You may choose
to only have Bowen Therapy for your animal either remedially or as part of
a preventative program. Treatments are approximately 45 mins. Bowen
Therapy on its own can be beneficial in
remedial as well as preventative programs, promoting overall
wellbeing and for performance animals that compete regularly. Cost : $45 per canine/feline. Discounts
available if regular Bowen Therapy treatments are provided as part of
ongoing rehabilitation or prevention.
Bodywork
Therapy sessions Providing a range of bodywork techniques including Bowen Therapy, Acupressure, Photonic Therapy, Reiki & crystal and energy work. Suitable as part of a remedial or preventative program for health & wellness. Treatments are approx 60/70mins. Essential Oils can be incorporated into programs as needed. Cost : $ 60 per canine/feline Discounts are available if regular Bodywork therapy treatments are provided as part of ongoing rehabilitation or prevention.
Essence/Homeopathy/Nutritional Consultations
If
you are seeking essence or homeopathic
remedies to assist with a particular problem – physical,
emotional or behavioural, then you can arrange for a consultation in
person or this can be done using a Questionnaire that you complete and
email to Helen. Or if seeking nutritional advice this can also be
provided. Helen will review the information that you provide and either
email or phone you with her advice.
Initial assessment and one remedy : $55- $60 Follow-up/repeat remedies
: $25-30
(30ml essence remedies) (Homeopathic Remedies vary in price $10 -$20) ( Postage extra)
Reiki & Energy Healing If you would like Reiki treatments as a separate natural therapy
modality for your companion animal then contact Helen to discuss options
of “in person” or distance treatments and treatment costs.
Details about how Reiki may benefit are detailed below Although sometimes healing can be seen in one or two sessions, for continued health and well-being all animals benefit most from a
regularly scheduled program of Reiki. Performance animals: Three /four treatments on consecutive
days, then once a week or every other week for maintenance with daily
treatments on the most demands days.
Recovering from Injury/Illness: Three /four treatments on consecutive days followed by once or twice a week until recovery. Senior animals/palliative care: Begin with a series of four treatments on consecutive days, followed by once a week or as needed for support.

Where multiple dog/cat/equine households require treatment, reduced pricing may apply – please ask Helen about this when you call. If you arrange for regular Bowen Therapy or Bodywork treatments as part of a rehabilitation or preventative program where treatments are scheduled every min 2-4 weeks then reduced pricing applies after the 3rd treatment – ask Helen about these arrangements
In cases where home visits are provided to those in receipt of a disability or aged pension, travel costs will be reduced/waived.
